About

Built for the pause.

The people who carry the most in cyber and tech, the ones who respond to incidents, defend systems, build critical infrastructure, are rarely given language or space to talk about what that actually costs.

The culture around resilience in this industry is almost entirely built around endurance. Staying in. Staying on. Staying hard. But endurance without adaptation is just a slow failure with better marketing.

A breakpoint is not the end of execution. It is the pause where the system becomes readable. State is exposed. The developer reads it. Then the system continues, with more information than it started with.

The same is true for people. BREAKPOINT exists for that moment: the pause, the read, the continue.

Who it's for

People in cyber and technology. Engineers, operators, defenders, builders. People navigating burnout, transition, or recovery. Anyone who has learned that pressure changes a system and wants to understand what that means for the person inside it.

Mission Journal

Not everything that stops is broken. Some things stop so they can be read.

Worth reading.

Occasional writing on pressure, recovery, and what it costs to keep going. Arrives when there is something to say.

Infrequent. No third parties.
